User Management

User Rights Groups

Available for subscribers of: YourWelcome Tablets, PropertyCare.com, GuestGuides.com
Available to: All team members with Company Details access in User Rights Groups

With the YourWelcome dashboard, you can create user groups, and specify the granular level of control that you would like each group and team to have (i.e. which features would be enabled and accessible by each).

For instance, an individual within the ‘Company Administration’ team should be able to access the majority of information with regards to what they are working on, but the privileges of that User Rights Group would differ from ‘Managers’, who you would expect to have exposure and access to everything. Multiple User Rights Groups can be created as required, so as to ensure that each team is restricted accordingly, but has the access levels they would need to complete their own tasks effectively.

The User Rights Group table is accessible from the User Management area of the dashboard Settings page. By default there are just 3 groups. These are:

  • Full access to all features of the Dashboard only
  • Access to the PropertyCare Tasks App
  • Full access to all features of the Dashboard and access to the PropertyCare Tasks App

Adding groups can be done by clicking the green ‘New Group’ button in the top right of the table.

From here you simply name the Rights Group and optionally give it a brief description. You can then review the various features of the products (and their corresponding dashboard areas) and toggle on Full Access Rights to that feature or click to expand the table and take granular control on what users of that group can do.

Once you’re happy with the configuration of that group click the ‘Save Changes’ button in the bottom right and you’ll then be taken to the table of users in that group.

Unlike Departments (where a user can be in multiple departments) a user can only be in one User Rights Group. From here you can simply start typing in the Add Users row to find the team members who should be in that group and then add them to the table. Once complete click Save Changes again and you’re good to go.

By only allowing a user to be in one rights group it should be fairly easy to keep track of who has access to what however Rights Groups can get complicated so if you have any questions that are not covered in the pages of this support site, just get in touch with our friendly support team and we’ll assist you where possible.
