💡  The Task Guides section is an optional feature which your task assigner may not have chosen to enable and display on some or all of your tasks.

As YourWelcome and PropertyCare.com work with property management companies of all sizes. Each company has different processes for how they manage their task operations and some are more process driven than others. Typically larger companies have a set of guidelines and standards by which their housekeeping and maintenance teams work to. Task Guides are a way to share these standards so any documentation can sit alongside the actual tasklists.

If your task assigner is utilising these you will see a button either on the chosen Task home screen displaying guides applicable to the whole task list or a button on individual specific tasks within the tasklist.

Guides can be videos, text and images or links to webpages. These guides can include descriptions about the property (eg how to enter a property) or descriptions on the task (eg examples of how a bed linen turndown or welcome basket should be presented). Each guide is represented as a row which can be tapped to expand or close. If a task includes images they will be shown as thumbnails which can be tapped to be shown larger.

Guides can be updated remotely by your task assigner so It’s recommended to check all guides prior to starting your task even if you may have viewed items with similar names at the same property before incase any details have been updated.
