Single Task & Tasklist Names
Available for subscribers of: PropertyCare.com
Available to: Users with access to the dashboard with ability to create tasks.
No matter what sort of task you’re creating you need to define 2 things to start. These include:
- Name of the task
- Priority Status
Let’s look first at Naming your tasks.
Typically if this is a Single Task the name will be what is actually required (ie “Change the lightbulb in master bedroom”), however when naming a Tasklist it would be more generic but still descriptive of what the individual tasks will achieve. Examples include:
- Turnover Clean
- Deep Clean
- Final Inspection
There is no character limit for your name but it will be truncated in many of the views (ie on the main Tasks Menu and in the Tasks App) so we recommend keeping the title to under 50 characters. You cannot have multiple tasks/tasklists with the same name (to avoid confusion) so they each need to be unique, if duplicating an existing task or tasklist the name of the duplicate will have ‘copy’ added to the end.
Read our next article for more details about Priority Statuses.
