A task or tasklist can be assigned as a single instance or set as a template to either assign singularly later or apply automation rules to. In the 3rd step of creating a task you can define whether and how to assign the task you created in steps 1 and 2.

First let’s understand how the process of assigning works.

Depending on the type of automation you plan to use depends on the options shown. If your task is linked to bookings, the option to define which property the task applies to is not shown as the booking itself is linked to a property. Otherwise all of the following will be required to be set (note, each section has its own support article where the options are discussed in full):

  • The automation type (One-off Vs Repeating)
  • When the task can be started
  • When the task will be visible to the assignee
  • When the tasks deadline is
  • Which properties does it apply to
  • Who the task should be assigned to
